The History Behind the Interest Groups
The Interest Groups started in Seattle after Simple Steps’ first meetup in the Summer of 2019. A group of like-minded self-motivators got together to study English and programming languages, as well as to socialize and network through common interests such as arts & crafts, cooking, and fitness challenges.
Since then, the Interest Groups grew in size and welcomed members from across the U.S. as well as Canada and Korea. The members come from a diverse background of experiences which made the exchange of information and skills extremely vibrant and compelling. Currently, we have various groups operating including English-speaking, journaling, arts and crafts, designs, programming, reading, and many more.
At Simple Steps, we strongly believe that continuous self-development and networking becomes the pillar of success in restarting your career. We plan to open more diverse Interest Groups to encourage anyone looking to connect and hone their skills.
